About Me
Hi, I am Anita Sawczuk
Originally from Poland, graduated 1st class Honours in Dietetic in Nutrition from one of the universities in London. I have gained experience in the NHS hospital, specialising in oncology and surgery. I do not support unnecessary dietary restrictions as I think cancer journey is hard enough even without it.
As a cancer dietitian nutritionist, my aim it to blend compassion and kindness with science-based knowledge to support my patients through their treatment journeys and beyond. Understanding the complex relationship between diet and cancer, I am focusing on personalised nutrition strategies that not only aim to alleviate treatment side effects but also enhance the overall well-being of my patients.
My approach is deeply rooted in science, ensuring that my dietary recommendations are based on the latest research and evidence-based guidelines. Nutrition science is complex and constantly changing as new research emerges, therefore it is important to remain up to date with knowledge. And the same time, to be aware of diet myths which can be misleading and confusing.
Above all, I recognise the emotional and physical toll that cancer and its treatment can have on individuals and their families, and I aim to address these challenges with empathy and understanding.
If you like my eating with kindness approach to cancer nutrition, do not hesitate to get in touch.
